Risk Management

Risk Identification & Risk Management

Most organizations appreciate that operating services and programs comes with a certain amount of risk.

However; without careful and consistent attention to risks there is always the possibility of harm, which can have serious consequences including legal issues for organizations.

Providers must always have systems, policies, and protocols in place to mitigate risk as best as is reasonably possible. And, those need to form the basis of a strategy to regularly monitor/review operations. Risk identification, analysis, and mitigation is managed through ongoing orientation, training & development with staff, residents, suppliers, as well as visitors. This is done to the degree required for their own and the organization's health and safety.

Andrew Butler & Associates has published (2005 & Updated) a Guide to “A Risk Management System”. This Guide is for sale to organizations and often we are contracted to assist organizations with Risk Identification and Strategies to mitigate those Risks.
